St Paul's Anglican Church is a Category II listed heritage building in the suburb of Papanui, Christchurch. It was registered as such by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust on 9 December 2005 with registration number 7635. The current church, built in 1877, was designed by Benjamin Woolfield Mountfort, (13 March 1825 - 15 March 1898) an English emigrant to New Zealand, who became one of the country's most prominent 19th-century architects. The timber church was badly damaged in the February 2011 Christchurch earthquake but after an extensive restoration process, the church was reopened in September 2013.

The graveyard at St Paul's Church is the last resting place for numerous notable Cantabrians. The first person to be buried in the cemetery was George Dunnage (c1803 - 19 May 1853), who was the first vicar of St Paul's. Other notable burials include William Guisse Brittan, Edward Dobson, Tony Foster and his wife Emily (daughter of William Brittan), and Sir Robert Heaton Rhodes. The churchyard is also the last resting place for Captain Charles Upham, (1908–1994) V.C and Bar, a farmer who in World War II became a New Zealand hero by winning two Victoria Crosses for bravery. The first was won in Crete in May 1941 and the second in July 1942 at Ruweisat Ridge near El Alamein in Egypt.
