White Oak Cemetery is located in the northwest corner of White Oak Township at the old White Oak Union Church and is seven miles west of Bethany.

From Bethany, go west on highway 136 to route BB and then turn left (south, go two miles to the third gravel road to the right (west). This gravel road will angle slightly to the left (south) and takes you to the church and cemetery. It is about one mile and is located on the north side of the road.

White Oak Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in this portion of Harrison County and is still in use.

Several stones in the older section have fallen down and are now unreadable. There are several burials that are now unmarked. The church has not been used in several years and is in poor condition.

A sign above the church door states: "White Oak Union 1879".
