The Strathroy Cemetery, located at 585 Metcalfe Street West, Strathroy, is owned and operated by the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc. The property presently covers 33.8 acres and is in active use.

Although municipal records show that the cemetery was founded by the former Town of Strathroy in 1862, headstones showing earlier dates of death indicate that the site was already in use as a cemetery prior to that time.

The metal arch shown in the historic photo has been removed. The engraved granite markers on the main gate pillars were erected on November 20, 2004, by Janet M. (Parker) Somerville in memory of E. Cameron Somerville.
