Between 1892 and 1904, inclusive, 100 persons were buried in the Santa Barbara County Hospital Cemetery adjacent to the hospital at Cacique and South Salinas Streets. In 1917, after a new hospital was built and the old site sold, the remains were transferred to the northeast corner of the new hospital property." (The current Potters Field Cemetery in Goleta)
