Saint Andrew's Protestant Episcopal Church was built in 1822-1823 to the designs of architect John Haviland. The church and grounds were sold to the Greek Community in 1921 and became Saint George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral. In 1937, remains and tombstones were removed to Saint Andrew's Collegiate Chapel of the Philadelphia Divinity School.

Remains were finally removed by the former Eugene Mauger Funeral Home to a new resting place at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Exton, Chester County, Pennsylvania, on August 12, 1976.
