St Tysilio's Church is a medieval church on the small island of Ynys Dysilio, near the village of Menai Bridge. The current building dates from the early 15th century but underwent renovations in the 19th century.
Tysilio was the son of Brochfael Ysgythrog, King of Powys. He fled his father's court to follow a religious lifestyle. He eventually arrived in Anglesey where, around 630, he founded a hermitage on an small island on the banks of the Menai.
Tysilio later moved back to Powys and became Abbot at Meifod. It is belived that Tysilio may be the St Suliac of Brittany.
