St. Andrew's Churchyard

The Church, a Grade I listed building, was extensively restored and partially re-built in 1847/8 by John Hayward,the five bells installed in 1553 have been replaced with six all bearing the founder's name Thomas Weare, London 1851, nave, north and south ailse's and 1887 restored chancel, the square font is 12th century Norman, 15th century pulpit and screen, the latter, dated pre 1420, adorned with 200 carved bosses.
The Church clock has been in use since 1581, the present one installed in 1861, electric mechanism added in 1997, dials feature on three sides of the tower.
The coat of arms above the doorway is so weathered it can't be distinguished
