About these numbers These percentages indicate the number of Find a Grave memorials that have a grave photo or GPS coordinates. We don't know the total number of burials in a cemetery, so we cannot calculate a percentage of those with memorials, photos or GPS coordinates.

Whitfield's Tabernacle, which is also known as the Penn Street Tabernacle, was founded in 1752 by the Methodist preacher George Whitfield (also spelled Whitefield). The chapel stood until about 1970 when it was demolished. The burials at that time were left in a crypt at the spot where the chapel originally stood, but when the area was redeveloped about 2006 or 2007 the burials were moved elsewhere. It is believed that the remains were reburied at Canford Cemetery, but this is not known for certain.
