This is on the southern side of the Banbridge-Castlewellan road about a mile from the former. It is in the townland of Ballydown and parish of Seapatrick. The congregation was established in 1796 in association with the Secession Synod and over the door is inscribed "Ballydown Presbyterian Church. Built 1798. Rebuilt 1904".
The graveyard surrounds the church with the oldest stones to the east and south. The oldest dates from 1825 and all dating from before 1900 have been copied.
