St Stephans Lutheran church on which land the Cemetery lies was closed in 1982. The three Lutheran congregations were: St Paul's built in 1871; St John's built in 1893; and St Stephen's built in 1871. In 1982 the three combined to form Trinity Lutheran Church. There are cemeteries attached to two of the Lutheran churches.
