The Jewish Cemetery of Schwarzrheindorf is one of the oldest surviving Jewish cemeteries in Bonn. Its exact date of establishment is unknown; the oldest surviving gravestone dates from 1623. The cemetery was used by the Jewish communities of Bonn and Beuel and was acquired by Bonn's Jewish community in 1818. In 1898 the site was divided between the communities of Bonn and Vilich/Beuel. Several hundred historic graves and gravestones dating from 1623 to 1956 survive, and the cemetery is protected as a listed monument.
