St Mary's Churchyard

St Mary's Leighton Bromswold was built in 1248 and most famously was rebuilt by the poet and priest of the Church of England George Herbert. The church has an entry in Simon Jenkins' book, "England's 1,000 best churches". This Grade One building is still used for a wide range of services and there is a Friends of St Marys group to help with building maintenance, cleaning and events.
