The historic churchyard of St. Andreas is located in the old centre of Bonn-Rüngsdorf beside the surviving Romanesque chancel tower of the former parish church of St. Andreas. The church has medieval origins, and the surviving tower dates from about 1200. After the present St. Andreas Church was built on the opposite side of the street, the nave of the old church was demolished in 1902.

Several historic grave crosses dating from the 17th and 18th centuries survive in the former churchyard, together with a stone wayside cross dating from 1703. The old church tower, the grave crosses and the wayside cross are jointly protected as a listed historic monument. The medieval tower continues to serve as the bell tower of the present St. Andreas Church.
