Incorporated in 1909, the first wing was constructed in 1910, the second wing in 1917, and the third wing in 1925. It is on the same land as the Oakwood Hill Cemetery. Genealogy requests are available off the website, however $10 is charged for the first two and $5 for each additional request. These requests do not included death certificates, obituaries, or relation information and can take up to three weeks for results to be sent. Please note that due to past papework practices that some data may not be available.

Tacoma Mausoleum has a policy where they will not release the location of burials to anyone that is NOT family to the deceased. In fact they strongly encourage photo volunteers NOT to take photos in the mausoleum without the family's' consent. If you are family, please request a location and have them confirm that a marker is in place and please note on the request that you are family along with the location and marker confirmation so photo volunteers can successfully complete the request.

They have a community vault in basement but not open to the public.
