This parish cemetery was established in 1858 and has one of the historically extant Catholic edifices in Bergen County. The picturesque church was built in 1854 by Henry James Anderson and was owned by the Riley family in 1890 until it was commonly named as Church of the Madonna. For many generations, the quaintly constructed chapel has become a landmark to motorists. The original mausoleum was constructed between 1973 and 1979. A new addition was completed in 2013 containing over 3,100 entombments. Families are provided with burials in-ground or above-ground and cremation niches.
