Lynwood Cemetery is on the west edge of Clarksville, on Highway C33, or Superior Street, driving through town. The cemetery was established in 1883 and is about forty-three acres. It is operated by the city and is well cared for. A Veterans memorial, the Perrin obelisk and Root-Slimmer Mausoleum are featured in the center of the original cemetery.

 

Section A burials are in the northwest corner which is divided into Ano (Section A north), Ace (Section A center) and Aso (Section A south).  

 

Section M burials are in the Mausoleum area which is divided into Me (Mausoleum east) and Mw (Mausoleum west).

 

The Memorial section is on the east end which is divided into three sections: Ma, Mb (babyland) and Mc.
