For photo requests, please contact the office to determine whether or not the grave is located in Paramus and obtain the plot burial society and block number. Date of death and proper spelling are both required. They might provide you a copied map of the information including an extra map containing landmarks of burial societies that makes it easier to pinpoint due to the fact that there are millions of graves in this cemetery and each block contains thousands. There are no numbers inside the blocks so that in order to find the grave, the volunteers have to march around the whole society which often contains hundreds of graves mostly visible but some sunken or not erected. Many names are duplicated so that the exact date of death is essential.
Other family names are very helpful to find the grave as well since some are buried with family. There are rampant ticks, poison ivy and sticker bushes in this cemetery. Families that do not pay for care often find their family graves overgrown and sunken. The cemetery takes no responsiblity for the condition of the stones which even after paying for care can be covered and unreadable with lichens and fungi because of the grass clippings which come from the mowing. Please be kind to the volunteers who will go in this cemetery because many volunteers will not go here due to the conditions.

1. Cedar Park Cemetery & New Cedar Park Cemetery are one and the same. It contains only outdoor, in-ground burials.

2. Beth-El Cemetery contains only outdoor, in-ground burials.

3. The Sanctuary of Abraham & Sarah is a Mausoleum; an indoor only facility that contains above-ground crypts (burial) and above-ground niches (cremains).
