Children: Johann Andreas II, Johann Ludwig (Louis), Johann Jacob, Maria Elisabetha, all born in Germany; the last two children were born in Virginia/now WV - John Conrad and Philip.

Their last child born in Germany, Maria Elisabetha, was christened in Lorsbach in 1753, so their immigration was after that date.

--------

Anna Catherine was the daughter of Johann Christian Hieronymus from the Lorsbach area of Germany. Her brother Johann Conrad Hieronymus (later spelled Heironymus) also immigrated to America.

She was christened in Lorsbach 6/29/1725 and married her 2nd cousin Johann Andreas Hieronymus (later anglicized to Andrew Ronimus) who was the son of Ludwig. Christian & Ludwig were the grandchildren of Matthaus (b. 1602). She immigrated with her husband Andreas to America. Andrew purchased a 133 acres farm from her brother, Conrad, for a token sum in Uvilla (then VA, now WV).

In 1957, her gravestone was only an inch above ground with the top broken off. The remaining portion read: Sep den 15th ist Catherine Ronimus begraben. Alt 80 Jahr = On Sep 15th Catherine Ronimus is buried, 80 years old.
