Anna M. Yosler, 94, of Economy Boro, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, in her son's residence surrounded by her loving family. She lived her lifetime in Economy.

Born February 1, 1919 in Economy Township, a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Gazda Chehovits, she was a member of the Good Samaritan Parish and the Economy Senior Citizens. She enjoyed traveling, going to bingo games and the casino. She was proud of her gardening and canning skills. She will be forever remembered by her family for her perogies and nut rolls, always making sure that everyone had some to take home. She enjoyed keeping touch by phone with her many friends both locally and far away.

Surviving are her son, Ronald Yosler of Harmony Township; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Myron Kowalski of Economy Boro and Linda and Dale Gliptis of Economy Boro; six grandchildren, Michael Kowalski of Economy Boro, Sandra (Michael) Bishop of Tarpon Springs, FL, Paul (Dawn) Yosler of St. Petersburg, FL, Chris (Beth) Yosler of Newville, PA, Shawn (Jenn) Gliptis of Slippery Rock, Joshua (Licia) Gliptis of Baltimore, MD; six great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Nathan Yosler, Ethan and Trent Gliptis, Anastasia Bishop, and newborn Alexander Gliptis; two brothers, John Chehovits and Jim (Jean) Chehovits; sisters-in-law, Sophie Slappo and Genevieve Chehovits, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Yosler; brothers, Andrew, Joseph and Steve Chehovits, and sister, Irene Barto.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where a prayer will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in the Good Samaritan Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care in her final days.
