Son of Isaac and Elmina Tyler Behunin.

He married Caroline Hill 01 Dec 1869 in Rabbit Valley, Wayne, Utah.
To this union was born elven children; Joseph Henry, Isaac Stephen, Brigham Daniel, John, David Hill, Caroline Elmina, George Albert, Elijah, Mary Jane, Cynthia Rebecca, and Robert Perry Behunin.

On Monday night last, Mosaih S. Behunin, a well known citizen of Ferron and Emery county passed to his eternal rest.
He has been ailing for several weeks with a stomach trouble and for years was sufferer with white swelling of the leg.
Deceased was a resident of Ferron for 14 or 15 years. Previous to coming here he acted as Mormon missionary amont the Indians in the vallesy of Wayne county and further south.
We understand he was born in Missouri and came across the plains with his father (Isaac Behunin) andmother when a lad. The family lived at Provo and later went to Ephraim, Willow Creek, thenece to Dixie and to Richfield. Mr. Behunin married a daughter of a bishop of a Salt Lake ward, who survive him. Besides a widow he leaves elven children, and three brothers and sisters who are: Isaac M. Behunin of Spring City, Alma Behunin of Provo, E.C. Behunin of Wayne county. Mrs. Nancy Higgins of Joseph Sevier county and Mrs. Amos Stevens of Colorado.
Mr.l Behunin was a good citizen, a good fruit raiser and helpful in building up the community and good to the sick and afflicted. He was about 58 years of age.
Funeral services were held in the meeting house on Thursday afternoon and were attended by a large number of relatives and friends. Appropriate music was rendered and the following speakers referred to many good points in the life and record of the deceased: J.D. Killpack, John Zwahlen, M. A. Cox, Hyrum Zwahlen and Bishop Beal.
