Mrs. Barbara Inez Harlow Brunett, 77, of Enfield, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.
Mrs. Brunett was born Aug. 8, 1938, in Halifax County, the daughter of the late Algea Harlow and Irene Hudgins Harlow. She was also predeceased by her brother, Ronald L. Harlow; her sister, Charlotte Ann Harlow; and grandson, C.J. Brunett.
She is survived by her sons, Winford Keith Brunett Sr. and his wife, Barbara, of Tarboro, Lawrence Pal Brunett Jr. and his wife, Teresa, of Enfield and Jeffrey Lee Brunett and his wife, Krystal, of Rocky Mount; her brother, Arthur C. Harlow and his wife, Beanie, of Enfield; her sister, Lettie Marie “BooBoo” Pierce of Wake Forest; her grandchildren, Christopher, Kristina, Keith Jr., Shannon, Michael, Nickolaus, Hunter, Jacob, Michael Christopher and Makaleigh; and many nieces and nephews, including Toni Lynn Rodriguez, Charlotte Nichol Harlow, Vivian Billymer and James Pierce III, and many cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9 at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Enfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10 at the church, with the Rev. Alvin R. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
