David's Story
Mr. David Wayne Berg, 45, of Dalton, departed this life Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at the local hospital.
David was born Jan. 17, 1971, in East St. Louis, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father, James J. Berg; his birth mother, Rosemary Carron.
David was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and was a big supporter of all law enforcement. Upon David's passing, he graciously gave the gift of sight by making a donation to the Georgia Eye Bank.
He is survived by his daughters, Emily Berg-Ricks of Conway, Ark., Kara Detmer of Fulton, Mo.; mother, Wyoma Tucker Berg; fiancée, Dianna Hodnett of Dalton; birth father, James and Krista Wren; brothers, Josh Cole, Tim and Janet Wren; sisters, Tina Callico, Krystal Cole, Janet and Clayton Adcock, Deanna Brewer.
The service to celebrate the life of Mr. David Wayne Berg is today at 1 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. Russell Snyder officiating. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel today after 11 a.m.
Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
