He is survived by three daughters, 9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 12 Gt. Grandchildren ,1 Gt. Gt. Grandson and cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Margie Bales.
He was a veteran serving with the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict and had received the Certificate of Acceptance and Good Conduct Medal. He had been employed by Lapham-Hickey Steel Company as a Steel Worker until his retirement January 31, 1994.
He was a member of American Legion Post 370 in Louisiana. Memorials may be given to the Donor’s Choice.
