She was born April 3, 1941, in Chicago, daughter of the late Katherine Hicks. She married Charles Petty Dec. 2, 1961. He survives. She was a secretary.
She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cathi and Tony Lugo of Dresden; her son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Cindy Johnson of Carpentersville, Ill.; another daughter-in-law, Renette Petty; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Chuck Petty.
