J. W. Durst, 81, of Pinetta, FL went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at his son's home. He was born on May 29, 1935 in Hahira, GA to the late James William Durst, Sr. and Annie Bell Wood Durst. Mr. Durst was retired from Pan Coatings in Jacksonville, FL and after retirement worked with his son at A & M Electric. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Madison, FL.
He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Vera Ellen Warren Durst and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Pastor Jackie Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Nashville, GA. The family will receive friends from ten until eleven a. m. Thursday at the funeral home.
