Rose Mary Taylor, daughter of the late Cecil A. Chanley and Willis Waltrip was born in Libourn, Missouri on January 8, 1931 and departed this life in St. Anthony’s Hospice House at St. Louis, Missouri on April 30, 2018 at the age of 87.

Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker.

She was united in marriage to Lee Roy Taylor in New Madrid, Missouri on January 5, 1947. Mr. Taylor preceded his wife in death on November 18, 2017.

Survivors include two sons, David Allen Taylor of Kirkwood, Missouri and Charles Lee Taylor of Crestwood, Missouri; by one step-sister, Ruth Ann Carpenter of Southeast Missouri; by three grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, James Russel Chanley and great grandson Robert David Lee Kiems.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Funeral Services will then be conducted at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
