Archie J. Lavergne, 85 of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on July 17, 2018. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on October 31, 1932, to Pauline M. Lavergne and was raised in Opelousas, Louisiana.
He was married to Carrie Ann Billeaudeaux Lavergne for 62 years. Archie served in the United States Army during the Korean War and worked for Western Union Telegraph Company for 40 years. He was a member of Saint Pius V Catholic Church and had a love for his ever-growing family, his Cajun heritage, and sharing his joy for life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline M. Lavergne Koop and Ervin Koop and his son, Kent Lavergne. He is survived by wife, Carrie Ann Billeaudeaux Lavergne; daughters, Denise Lavergne Burdick, and Cynthia Lavergne Quesnel and husband, Michael; sister, Delores Meaux (Harold); brother, Bill Koop (Pat); grandchildren, Vanessa Hargett (Trey), Natalie and Audrey Quesnel, Alex, Beth, Jaymes, Crystalyn, and Ben and Blake Burdick; great-grandchildren, Alanah, Mitchell, Abraham, Elizabeth, and Vivian.

Following the funeral service, the family would like to invite all guests to join them for food and fellowship in the Event Room before the Interment at Grand View Memorial Park.
