Funeral services for P. Wilma Ruhl are at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, January 20, 1994 at Sutphen Beaty Funeral Home with burial in Prairie Rose Cemetery in Adams County, Iowa, south of Corning. Wilma died January 15, 1994, in her home. Memorial are suggested to the diabetes fund.
Wilma, the daughter of Martin and Pansy E. Ross Schroeder, Jr. was born September 29, 1922 in Sough Dakota. Wilma moved to the Corning and Brooks area as a young girl and attended schools in the Brooks area. Moving to the Red Oak area in 1950. Wilma worked at the Union Carbide for 37 years.
Wilma married Virgil King, who preceded he ran death in 1988 and later married Jack Ruhl.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husbands.
Survivors include son, Roger and wife Lynda King, Ronald and wife Linda King, and Marvin King, all of Red Oak; daughters, Mrs. Ron (Joann) Williams of Stanton, Mrs. Ronald (Jannette) Farnum of Red Oak, Mrs. Marty (Pam) King of Belton, Missouri; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Sutphen Beaty Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
