Mrs Folkert Ennen died at an early hour Wednesday morning at the family home near Knoke, as a result of appendicitis from which she has suffered for many years. She leaves a husband and seven children, the youngest of whom is a babe two weeks old.
Jabtje Hansen Boomgaarden was born in Germany, Oct 9, 1875, and died July 19, 1911, aged 35 years, 9 months and 10 days. She was the daughter of Hans Boomgaarden, who lives west of Knoke. She has one brother, Harm Boomgaarden, living seven miles northeast of Pomeroy, and a sister, Mrs Cramar.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon, leaving the house at 1:30 for a service in the Germany Evangelical church in Pomeroy, conducted by Rev A Buettner, and interment in Union cemetery.
The loss of the young mother is sad indeed and sympathy is freely extended to the mourning relatives.
