He was married to Sharon Veach of Evansville on August 15, 1959.
Don retired from Alcoa in 1994, after 32 years, and also enjoyed raising Registered Angus cattle on the farm. After retirement, Don and Sharon enjoyed camping with family and friends and spending time at their place at Barkley Lake. He was a member of St. John's Church in Buckskin.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Minnie (Speicher) Kleiman, and Sharon his wife of 52 years.
He is survived by son, Darrell (Linda) Kleiman of Evansville; daughter, Donna (Wayne) Miller of Newburgh; grandchildren, Kyle (Laynie) Miller, Kayla (Anthony) Miller, Meredith (Willem) Urbina, Shelby (Tanner) Hagan; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Ron (Teddy) Kleiman and Lonnie (Ginger) Kleiman, both of Elberfeld.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 28, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander North Chapel, and again on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Steve Hale officiating.
