I am an elementary school teacher in Silverdale, Washington. I grew up in Cohoes, NY, joined the USN in 1972, was honorably discharged in 1979. I then attended the University of Washington earning my degree. I started teaching in 1984 and have been enjoying that job for the last 25 years. I'll continue to teach as long as I enjoy the kids and the work.
My wife and I live in Bremerton, Washington. We are Photo Volunteers for Find A Grave and look forward to filling requests that come our way.

April 26, 1952 to Sept. 4, 2015
Donald Rock, beloved husband, friend and teacher, passed away on September 4th in Bremerton. He was born April 26, 1952 in Cohos, New York to John and Evelyn Schramm Rock. After graduating high school, he served eight years in the Navy which brought him to Bremerton where he met his wife, Margaret Lowney.
A U.W. graduate, Don taught school at Silverdale Elementary for 30 years. He was an incredible teacher who is loved by many. He was an avid golfer, Seahawks fan and genealogist.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; father, John Rock; twin, Daniel; 14 other siblings and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Rock.
A celebration of life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, October 3rd at Klahowya Secondary School in Silverdale.
