George Everett Looney Jr., 57, passed away on May 22, 2022 at his home in Hernando surrounded by his family. He was born on January 11, 1965 in Memphis, Tennessee and as his children will confirm was "The Boss" all of his life and spent most of his career as a self employed mechanic.

Visitation will be from 11 am until a Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 1 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home , 2470 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, Mississippi. Interment will follow in Goodrum Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Looney and his three sons; Chris Dye (Fancy) of Horn Lake,
Mississippi, Donald Looney of Hernando, Mississippi and Dalton Looney (Lacy) of Tunica, Mississippi.

He also leaves behind his sister, Trish Greene and her husband, Pete of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, his three brothers, Clay Looney (Megan) of Tunica, Mississippi - J.B. Looney (Angie) of Winona, Mississippi and Billy Looney of Hernando, Mississippi and last but certainly not least his three grandchildren who he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and JoAnn Looney and his brother, Paul Looney.
