LEWES, Del. - Jane Ann Rowles Nouhra, 54, of Lewes, Del. passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, Sept. 5, 2022 after a year-long battle with cancer.
Jane was born on Jan. 8, 1968 in Clearfield to Duane A. and Sibbie E. (Baer) Rowles, who survive her.
She was a 1986 graduate of Clearfield High School and a 1991 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy.
Jane married J. Eid Nouhra on Aug. 12, 2000 in Clearfield. Jane served as a pharmacist in several locations and the family settled in Lewes where they raised their two children, Eid Alexander and Cameron Jane.
Jane enjoyed every day with her children, and when they got older and "less dependent on mom," walks on the beaches with her dogs, Percy and Buddy, bike rides, snow skiing, reading, travel and friends. She was also the coordinator of several annual vaccine clinics in her neighborhood administering over 120 doses on a single day.
Jane Nouhra is survived by her husband Eid; son Eid; and daughter Cameron, all at home; her parents, Duane and Sibbie Rowles of Clearfield; two brothers Gary L. Rowles and wife Patty of Clearfield and Mark A. and wife Debbie of Albemarle, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
A private service for the immediate family will be held at a later date.
