David Eugene McDonald, 56 of Randleman, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at his home in Randleman, NC.
David was born on October 25, 1966 in Hamlet, NC. He loved visiting and collecting Hard Rock Cafe tee shirts. He always enjoyed reading Stephen King books, listening to 80's music and playing retro/ vintage arcade video games. He had a big heart and loved all of his cats. David was a graduate of Rockingham High School. He loved being outside and had a well rounded knowledge for everything and a great sense of humor to boot.
David loved his country and served in the US Navy. He proudly retired from the US Navy after serving 30 years. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for Haeco Aviation in Greensboro, NC. He greatly loved his beloved wife and all of their fur babies. (especially his cats, Rocket and Sebastian).
As an enthusiastic genealogist, he was a longstanding member of the Find a Grave community, known as David E Mcdonald (48636734). We cannot thank him enough for his contributions.
A visitation with military honors was conducted at Ridge Funeral Home on May 19, 2023, at 4:30 p.m.
David is survived by his beloved wife, brother, father, aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Lois Ross Brizendine.
