Suggested:

Olaf (1 of 17 children born in Sweden) arrived on the East Coast of America in 1884.

He had followed his older sister, who had immigrated in approximately 1880. He met up with his sister (and brother in law) in Minnesota. He eventually moved to Telluride Colorado where he became a qualified Mining Engineer: and married Katie Serie-Lundquist sometime between 1886 and 1894.

They had 2 sons:

1. Unknown name son born 1895. Died as an infant of Scarlet Fever during an epidemic.

2. Albert William Lundquist born 1897: Died 1950

Katie died of a heart attack in 1907.


Albert left to serve in the 1st WW in about 1914.

Olaf was In a mining accident sometime after that necessitated his leg amputation below the knee.

Olaf moved from Telluride to Pueblo and worked as a carpenter, building houses.


In 1914 Olaf married his second wife Gertrude (Perdue)who died in about 1939 in Pueblo Colorado.


Albert (who had returned from the war, married and had a family-see his bio)died in 1947.


Olaf died in 1950 in Pueblo Colorado.
