Angel Lopez "Joe" Roa 84 went to be with his Lord July 30, 2023 in Ft Worth, Texas. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Sunday August 6, 2023 in the Aspermont cemetery under the care and direction of GilesMcCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.

Joe was born in Stonewall County to Raymond and Guadalupe Lopez Roa, he was one of eighteen children.

Joe was a simple man, with a strong love for his family, nature and God.

Joe kept life happy. Even in the toughest of times, there was nothing he would not do to help someone. He was always positive and and pushed himself and others through the cycle of life. There were many times when Joe helped his children through life. The amount of moral and ethic lessons he gave them were numerous and invaluable and never to be forgotten.

Although Joe was a simple man that didn't have many material things; it was his love for life and laughter, the love for people around him, his pride for everything he ever had and ever achieved, that made him a rich man.

No matter what Joe remained positive, even during his time of need. Often telling his son, "i love you little man, be happy"

Joe's son said " It hurts me to let you go but I know I must. I hope you are with Jonnye, which you loved so very much, and I hope you are with everyone you ever lost and loved before you."

Survivors include one Son Steven Roa of Ft Worth, Wife Irene Roa, Siblings Wallie Roa, Robert Roa, Romona Roa Behne. He was preceded in death by Daughter Jonnye Roa
