Patricia was born on December 18, 1942, the daughter of Robert and Valda (Gray) Hance.
She married John Shippee on October 17, 1959.
Patricia worked many years at United Helpers Moongate in Canton and assisted her husband John on their farms near Elmdale and in Lisbon. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband; a source and wife of Gouverneur; a son and wife of Richville; a daughter and wife of Gouverneur; a daughter of Somerville,14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Patricia is also survived by her two brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, her son William "Billy" Shippee, her daughter Donna Hatcher, and her brother Robert Hance.
