May 17,1951-June 9, 2024 In Loving Memory
Bluffdale, Ut-In the evening of June 9, 2024 our loving father, grandfather, dedicated husband and honorable Navy veteran passed away surrounded by his family. Born on May 17, 1951 in Colfax, Wa to Dennis and Daphine Arnes.
Fresh out of high school Dan enlisted in the US Navy and would go on to serve in Vietnam, Desert Storm and The Gulf War retiring in 1991 after having served over 21 years in the military rising to the rank of Command Master Chief. Dan loved his work with the Navy and the Navy's Search and Rescue.
Dan had a passion for doing genealogy for both family and military as well as tinkering on anything he could get his hands on.
Dan is survived by his 3 children, Son Michael, Daughter Michelle (Mark), Daughter Susan (Sam), Wife Toni, Sister Glory (Jack), brothers Mike and JD(Camille), 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews. FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
Viewing June 27,2024 at 11am Broomhead Funeral Home in Riverton, Ut followed by service at Veterans Cemetery in Bluffdale 12:30pm
