Debbie Lynn Long died March 24, 2025, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Services for Debbie will be on Friday (March 28) at 10 a.m. in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Richard Hileman officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka with Rev. Roy Rogers officiating under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
She was born on December 7, 1963, in Shawnee. On December 8, 1979, Debbie married Donnie Long. They moved to El Reno 35 years ago. Debbie was the supervisor of the Head Start Program for El Reno, Yukon, Kingfisher, Calumet and Mustang, and was Assistant Postmaster for Union City for 7+ years. She enjoyed many hobbies including genealogy research, puzzles, sewing, and arts and crafts especially diamond drill painting.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Donnie, of the home; children, Jeffrey Long, Brandon Long, and Jennifer Williams, all of El Reno; brother, Ernie Lee of Wetumka; sisters, Regina Seeman of Morris and Peggy McCormick of Bartlesville; and granddaughter, Mikayla Hattie Fixico.
Her parents, Ernest "Short" and Bertha O'Brien Lee; infant daughter, Rebecca; brother, Billy "Whistle" Lee; and sisters, Susie Anita Cheatwood and Lillian Chesser, preceded her in death.
