Obituary
Lancaster – Ralph S. Henderson, 86, passed peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Marlborough Hospital. He leaves behind two children and their spouses, Carole Pepin & Mike, and Gary Henderson & Patty; a foster-child Dawn Arbour; and five grandchildren: Sean, Austin, Thomas, Kaden, and Ella; generations of nieces and nephews. Close friends, and neighbors. He is pre-deceased by his beloved wife June (Burgess) Henderson, and brother Paul R. Henderson.
Son of the late Spencer & Olga (Skane) Henderson, Ralph was born in Winchester, MA. He studied and graduated from Reading High School, Class of '57. A proud Veteran, Ralph served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged as a Private First Class. He returned home safely and began his career in HVAC boiler maintenance. Blessed with a skilled mind and a compassionate heart, Ralph served his community in many ways, notably as a member of the American Legion in Lancaster, and the Lancaster Evangelical Church. He was an avid Bruins fan, and had played hockey for ITT. A collector at heart, he loved to collect stamps, coins, baseball and hockey cards. And truly loved to spend his time outdoors at Lake Winnipesaukee. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Ralph was happiest in the company of family and friends and will be forever remembered.
