Harry Charles Boyd, age 89, of Marion, IL, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at his home.
He was born on March 15, 1936 in Harrisburg, IL, a son of Arthur K. and Lena (Bramlet) Boyd.
He and Dorothy Ann Fulkerson were united in marriage on June 17, 1956.
Harry worked for the Internal Revenue Service and was a member of First Baptist Church of Marion.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; sons, Larry (Becky) Boyd of Ames, IA and Mike (Holly) Boyd of Marion; grandchildren, Brandon (Maggie) Boyd of Hudson, WI, Jacob (Jill) Boyd of Ames, IA, Hannah Boyd of Marion and Grace Boyd of Marion; along with five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Arthur Donald Boyd.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 North Court Street, Marion, IL.
A time of visitation will be at Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Following the time of visitation, the memorial service will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Joe Wagner presiding.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.
