Graveside services for Kelly Pease, age 72, of Omaha, Nebraska will be 11:00 a.m. November 8, 2025, at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk, Nebraska. John Petersen will officiate. A Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard Tribute will be at the service. Brockhaus-Howser-Fillmer Funeral Home in Norfolk is in charge of arrangements.
Kelly Pease, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 3, 2025, in Omaha. Kelly was born on April 2, 1952, in Bloomfield to Robert and Maxine Pease.
Kelly married the love of his life, Sheri Pease, in 1976. Together they raised two wonderful children, Wade Pease (married to Lynette Pease) and Quinn Pease (married to Jill Pease). Kelly was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren, Emma, Tallie and A.J. He is also survived by four brothers, Larry, Bob, Craig and Randy Pease and families.
He attended Creighton High School and graduated in 1970, then he continued his education at the University of South Dakota, where he graduated with an associate degree in nursing and a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1976.
Kelly had a deep passion for genealogy and loved exploring his family history while reconnecting with relatives near and far. His enthusiasm was so great that some family vacations were even planned around visits to specific cemeteries.
Despite his long 16-year battle with cancer, Kelly always maintained his humorous sarcasm and positive outlook on life. Kelly will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
