CORDELE-Funeral services for Clarence E. Banks, 59, who died in his home in Cordele, were held Sunday in Dekle Funeral Home Chapel. the Rev. P. L. Branch and the Rev. Jack Key officiated and burials was in Sunnyside Cemetery.
A native of Fayette County, he was the sone of Mrs. Lena Murphy Banks and the late Rufus Banks. he had resided in Cordele for a number of years and had been employed as an electrician.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Agnes H. Banks of Cordele; a daughter, Mrs. John Musselwhite of Cordele; his mother, Mrs. E. R. Banks; two brothers, Dewey Banks of Vienna, and H. E. Banks of Lynn Haven, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Gunter of Cordele, and MRs. Shirley Brown of Atlanta; ad grandchild, Randy Musselwhite of Cordele; and several nieces and nephews.
