LAGACE. Thomas P. Lagace, 51, of 62 Village St., Vernon died Monday (August 2) at Rockville Hospital. He was born in Middletown and he was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford and the New Haven School of Electronics and he was a resident of Vernon for the past several years. He is the son of G. Albert Lagace of Yalesville and the late Marie (Rouleau) Lagace; he was the former husband of Lucy Lagace of West Hartford. His is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Alyssa Lagace of Vernon; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Robert Stephens of Norfolk, Va. Also surviving are four brothers, Kenneth Lagace of St. Edwardstown, Penn., Richard Lagace of Chester, David Lagace of Portland and Kevin Lagace of Avon; two sisters, Marilyn Baleshiski of Avon and Jeanne Adams of Mount Holly, Vt.; a granddaughter, Erica Stephens; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, 10 a.m., at St. Jerome's Church, New Britain. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, New Brirtain. Calling hours will be at the New Britain Memorial Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain from 9 a.m., Thursday to time of departure to Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association, 26 Park Road, Vernon CT 06066.
