Debra Kay Winslett, also known to many on Find a Grave as Shelsmom, was the most beautiful woman I have ever known. She sadly lost her life here on Earth to Cancer, on January 7th, 2010. Her battle was a very short six weeks.

Debbie was preceded in death by her son, Sheldon Sullivan . She spent the last eleven years fighting for justice for her beloved Sheldon, who was brutally murdered in 1998.

She is survived by her very loving husband Wesly Winslett, of Duncan, Oklahoma. Her son, Troy Sullivan and daughter in law Margaret Sullivan of Palm Coast Florida. Other surviving family members include her step daughters, Rachel ( Billy) Winslett of Longview Texas, Raquel Winslett; and step sons, Chance Winslett, and Lance Winslett, all of Duncan Oklahoma. Also surviving her in death is her mother, Donna Stanley, of Olympia, Washington.

Debbie was a homemaker, who took great pride in her family, friends and home. Her greatest past time was spending time with her animals, but most importantly her horses. She spent many hours with them, breeding, caring for, and even breaking them.

Debbie had a heart of gold, and had many many friends, who will miss her very much. She had a special knack of making people laugh and bringing joy to their hearts. She was able to see the good side of even the worst day. The wisdom she taught many of us will never be forgotten. Debbie will live on in our hearts forever.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glint on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,

I am the swift, uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circling flight.

I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there, I do not sleep.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.

I am not there, I did not die!
