Carol Annette Posey, of Dayton, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on May 4, 2018 in Kingwood, Texas. Carol was the daughter of Charles and Darlene Posey. Carol met and married Edward (Peanut) Allen and through that union they shared two children, Charlene (Allen) Fowler and Edward (Bubba) Allen. Carol attended Gospel Assembly Church School in the early years.
Carol loved to play the flute, piano and the saxaphone. Carol was a caregiver for Granny Posey until she passed away. She also took care of her brother Robin until she couldn't anymore. She worked in the church kitchen for years before going to work at Sam's Bar B Que on Airline Dr. She loved to listen to Old Gospel Music, she collected porcelain dolls, working on puzzles, reading books and most of all playing pranks on unsuspecting individuals. To all that knew Carol she was always happy to see family and friends. Carol will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Darlene Posey, brother, Robin Posey, Grandparents, Granny and Grandpa Posey, and Granny and Grandpa Bone.
Carol is survived by her children, Charlene (Allen) Fowler and Edward (Bubba) Allen, grandchildren, Gracie, Emily, and Jonathan Fowler.
The family will receive visitors for a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Porter Gospel Assembly Church, 22080 Spear Rd, Porter, Texas 77365 at 10 am.∼Age 57.

Carol was a Texas girl. Very devoted to her family.
She was always sending in virtual floral requests for her parents and her brother and sister.
Carol adored her family and grandchildren.
Carol came down with a bad cold that escalated into respiratory issues.
