He was born on October 8, 1947 in Colorado City, Texas to the late Homer Mitchell and Alta Iolee (Kennemer) Caswell. He was a self employed truck driver, farmer and rancher.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Travin Caswell; and one brother, Larry Caswell.
He is survived by his wife, Zelma Caswell of Hope, Arkansas; two sons, Buck Caswell and wife Carol of Springhill, Louisiana, and J.M. Caswell and wife Barbara of Stamps, Arkansas; one sister, Carolyne Caswell of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Jessica Caswell, Leela Caswell, Lilly Caswell, Kelby Caswell; and one step grandson, Michael Martin.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Hillside Cemetery in Granada, Colorado with Bro. Al Setter officiating under the direction of Peacock Funeral Home in Lamar, Colorado.
