Nila M. Anunson, age 81, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, passed away on April 7, 2003, at the Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Services were held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial in Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids handled the arrangements.
Nila was born in the town of Stockton, WI, a daughter of the late Clarence and Mae (Steinke) Doane. She was married to Daniel Simonis on June 26, 1948. He died Oct. 28, 1971. She was married to Russell Anunson on Dec. 10, 1983. He died March 2, 1989. Employed at Fey Publishing in Wisconsin Rapids for 30 years, doing layout design and retired in 1983. A member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Evening Guild and also Sons of Norway.
Survivors include two sisters, Myrna Reinhart, Wisconsin Rapids, and Edna (Peter) Sprtel, New Berlin; nieces and nephews.
