I would not have been able to submit the number of family members that I have without the help of my dear sister, Rose Buss, and my dear friend, Karl "It's Alive!" Whittington.
This site is fantastic! I felt cheated for a long time because my parents wanted their ashes scattered, which left me with no formal place to leave flowers. Now, not only me, but their friends and other family members across the country can visit and leave flowers.
My message to others is that you should find out all you can about your family. It's their legacy to you. In turn, you should let your children and grandchildren know all there is to know about your family, as well. It is your legacy to them.
Family grudges, bad feelings, and unforgiven arguments should not prevent future generations from learning about their family. A couple or three generations from now, any sour grapes will be meaningless, but ancestral heritage lives forever.
