I have been actively researching my family since early-mid 1980s and Genealogy quickly became a passion of mine. I was especially thrilled when Genetic DNA testing came onto the horizon and I have recruited a great number of my relatives, close and distant, to submit a DNA test in order to further my research.
I fell in love with FindAGrave when it first came on the scene and even though I contribute less of my time as I have aged, I remain involved.
My favorite part of FindAGrave today is Sponsoring the Graves of my direct ancestors, grandparents through the generations, as well as many relatives that had a profound impact on my life in one way or another. I am forever grateful for all of them.
Another of my favorite Genealogy challenges today is to assist adoptees in the search for their genetic family through DNA. I find most of those folks in my own DNA matches.
I am always happy to assist anyone in their research when they ask for assistance.
